SCRT® began in 2010 with local artists producing short runs of exclusive printed clothing. The brand has grown to become an independent British streetwear label collaborating with creatives from around the world. SCRT® draws influences from subcultures both past and present, while producing collections focused on vintage-inspired workwear, with an eye to function and everyday wear. They often find inspiration in cult films, forgotten corners of media, art in all its forms, and the strange and the surreal. Their design utilizes a boxy fit, taking contours from vintage patterns and found items, especially workwear that has survived extensive use. The fabrics are simple and comfortable, with details they use to express the themes within their capsules.
