NANGA 's Aurora Tex Light Stand Collar Down Jacket Mikami is named after Mount Mikami, also known as Omi Fuji, for its beautiful, gently sloping ridge in Yasu City, Shiga Prefecture. This down jacket is a combination of NANGA's unique technology, utilizing the results of NANGA's long-standing research into sleeping bags.

This "AURORA TEX LIGHT STAND COLLAR DOWN JACKET MIKAMI" is NANGA's flagship model, combining the best in warmth and lightness. Made from AURORA TEX LIGHT®, a waterproof and breathable material developed exclusively by NANGA, it is extremely thin and lightweight at 15dn, yet has excellent waterproof and breathable properties.

In particular, the high collar is simple and gives the jacket a clean line. It keeps the wind out while maintaining comfort around the neck. Furthermore, the lack of a hood makes the overall weight lighter, reducing the burden on the wearer.

As for the down, it contains 180g of high-quality SPDX (Polish goose down) with a fill power of 860FP. To improve warmth retention, we use the box quilt structure used in NANGA sleeping bags. It's used on the back, where the cold is most easily felt, and boasts excellent warmth retention. The Mikami line is a garment that brings together NANGA's unique technology.

The distinctive side zipper at the neck opens to become a mesh collar and has a ventilation function, so you can enjoy the change of design while also functionally evaporating sweat quickly and promoting body temperature regulation through heat vaporization. It efficiently releases stuffiness on the outside, so you can wear it comfortably for long periods of time.

The lower part of the chest pocket has a unique structure that separates it from the main body, so the contents of the pocket don't directly interfere with the body, making it comfortable to wear. The arms are also stitched (sewn) in a way that prevents the down inside from being crushed. Additionally, the Velcro at the cuffs and the drawstring at the hem also improve temperature adjustment and waterproof and windproof performance.
