Regular fit, tapered leg jeans crafted from dry organic denim. The Dry Platino is made from Italian dry denim in a dark blue shade from the Candiani denim factory. The denim has a nice classic fit, with a good balance of the slightly irregular yarn caused by ring spinning. The dark blue indigo tone is the most exclusive feature of the fabric. Normally, the deep tones are achieved by dyeing the warp yarns in sulfur and indigo dye. Instead, Candiani has replaced the sulfur with a mineral dye based on Archroma waste. The so-called EarthColors® are synthesized from natural, inedible residues from the agricultural industry, such as leaves and walnut shells. A pretty, appropriate, resource-efficient dye to pair with indigo that gives denim a brownish-green hue. The way Candiani has dyed the warp threads also has another important advantage: it keeps most of the threads undyed, which makes these dry jeans age a little faster than normal dry jeans.
